Before long, there will be an European directive
issued that all irrigation water in Europe will have to be recycled.
Recycled water, because of the already present nutrients, recycled
water is a good culture medium for algae and fungi. An ultra violet
(UV disinfection installation is often used to destroy all kinds of
bacteria and fungi. But the presence of masses of algae which are
not killed by the UV treatment renders the water non transparent and
because of the low UV light penetration, no optimal performance can
be obtained from the UV installation.
The
LG
SONIC
Tank,
however sees to it that the algae are killed and drift away or can
be removed easily so that the water stays clear and the disinfection
takes place as intended.
Moreover, the power consumption of the of the
UV high-pressure lamp can be drastically money saving reduced as it
needs less power to reach its optimal capacity.
The
LG
SONIC
Tank
is in many respects similar to the
LG
SONIC
Pool,
the only difference is the casing of the transducer, which is
constructed in such a way that if the transducer will touch the
bottom of the tank (or any container) the beaming part cannot be
closed off.
The market
The main market for the
LG
SONIC
Tank
is the horticulture or market-gardening industry, growers of
plants, flowers, fruits, vegetables etc., who use water for
irrigation, sprinkling, spraying etc., where algae might cause
clogging in parts of the installation.
