LG Sonic® Technology
Low Power- Bright Signal (Lp-Bs) TechnologyTM
The ability to kill a microbial cell with an ultrasound wave is typically not determined by the power you put behind it (power consumption). More important is the shape and transmission of the sound waves. The Lp-Bs technology TM enables the LG Sonic® devices to send out a sound signal under optimal conditions. This makes it unnecessary to apply high power to obtain a long range.
Highly advanced broadband transducer
The LG Sonic® transducer has been especially manufactured for LG Sound and has a protected formula. The transducer has been designed to gain the highest efficiency in transmission of the ultrasound into the water. To effectively kill algae, a sound wave should be distinct, pure and without any harmonic noise. The LG Sonic® transducer is made to fit the LG Sonic® controller perfectly and does not cause any harmonic noise or disturbance in the sound signal, leading to the most effective algae control.
Dual Core-Multi Frequency (DC-MF) technology TM
Controlling one type of algae in a water reservoir often means another type will have a better chance to grow. Therefore the LG Sonic® uses the Dc-Mf Technology TM, which produces multiple frequencies simultaneously and is controlling several algal species at the same time. With the unique dual program you can choose between 2 programs (A and B) depending on the type of treatment and application. The LG Sonic® has 2 different frequency programs to fit many different applications.
GSM monitoring Module
Because continuous operation is important to control algae effectively, all LG Sonic® devices can be equipped with a GSM monitoring system. With this handy option you can request the operation status of your device at any time, by sending your device an SMS message! Besides that, the GSM monitoring system is programmed to send a text alert when the power is cut of for more then 3 hours. .
For example when:
- The power to the LG Sonic® device is cut.
- The LG Sonic® device is broken.
- The device has been removed or damaged due to vandalism.

NSF for 2000 gallons instead of 1.000.000
The NSF/ANSI Standard 61 certificate is an American standard which validates the safety of products associated with water and food. The NSF 61 certificate is especially for drinking water, and implicates the safety of the units in drinking water.
LG Sonic® is the only ultrasonic algae controlling products that has an NSF certificate for reservoirs of 2000 gallons and bigger, instead of 1.000.000 gallons of water read more about LG Sonic® Certification.
