Different ultrasonic programs for more efficient algae control

The new LG Sonic e-Line incorporates the unique Chameleon TechnologyTM.  This technology enables you to change the frequency program, depending on your application or the micro-organism you want to control. By selecting the most effective frequency range, the LG Sonic e-Line can actively target algae and biofilm in any water body. All frequency programs have been scientifically proven to be effective for its corresponding algal group.

Ready to use

Even if LG Sonic e-line has multiple programmes, they are still easy to use since all the units are set to the right program by LG Sound. For achieving better result, the customer can change the programs after consulting the LG Sound team.

Low power – Bright Signal II technology

By redesigning our devices, we were able to integrate the electronics into the transmitter. This innovation offers the possibility to extend the transmitter cable indefinitely without sound loss and reduces the power consumption of the device even further.

By adjusting the electronic components, we have upgraded the Low Power- Bright Signal (Lp-Bs) TechnologyTM to obtain an even more efficient system, producing an outstanding sound quality signal. Thanks to the Lp-Bs2 system, the LG Sonic e-Line will have a longer life span and lower power consumption than the former LG Sonic products.

Multiple transmitters

The LG Sonic e-Line offers the possibility to install up to 4 transmitters on one single electronic control box. Every transmitter can be programmed via the same e-box and can work on separate programs depending on the water parameters and degree of treatment desired.

This option allows easier installation and treatment in situations where several reservoirs need to be treated or the water body has a bend or curve.

integrated Wiper

Automatic cleaning of the transmitter head with the integrated Wiper

The LG Sonic e-Line is the first and only ultrasonic system world-wide that has an automatic cleaning system that wipes the transmitter head.

This ensures 100% effective treatment because calcite deposits and other fouling of the transducer head are prevented.

Furthermore, it is scientifically proven, that frequent cleaning of the transmitter results in a 50% stronger sound signal after 6 months.

By integrating an automatic wiper into the LG Sonic, optimal performance with minimal maintenance is ensured. Every 3 hours, the head of the transmitter is swept, which allows the ultrasound to be 100% effective providing an optimal algae control 24/7.

LCD Display Module with Pushbuttons

An LCD screen is included in every LG Sonic e-Line that displays the status of each LG Sonic transmitter. The LCD module includes 2 pushbuttons to select up to 10 different frequency programs for each of your transmitters.

Remote control and selection of the optimal frequency program

The GSM-2 Control unit allows you to monitor and change the ultrasonic program of your unit:

    • Thanks to the Chameleon technologyTM, the LG Sonic e-Line has different frequency programs which can be changed by sending an SMS Message.
    • Besides that, you can request the operation status of your device at any time or receive an SMS message from your device when any technical error occurs or the power has been off for 3 hours or more.

Solar system available

The LG Sonic units can also operate on 24 Volts DC using only 5 Watt. The complete standalone solar system and installation can be purchased from LG Sound.

LG Sonic e-line algae control without chemicals, for ponds, cooling towers, water treatments plants, lakes, swimming pools and reservoirs.

LG Sonic® options:

Flexi-arm

The flexi-arm is part of the most recent innovation line of the LG Sonic®. This product has been especially designed to make the installation of the units easier. Besides that, they offer the possibility to aim the LG Sonic® unit even better, leading to a better result of your ultrasound treatment. The connecting arm is flexible and it can be adjusted to fit every (possible) application, where previously improvised techniques, such as ropes and poles were used. Read more…

Dual Tester

The Dual Tester is especially designed by LG Sound, for the LG Sonic® products. This product can be used to test whether the electronic board is still sending all the correct frequencies by plugging it into the transducer output. Besides that, it can also be used to test the frequencies emitted into the water.

The Dual Tester has been set to match the correct frequencies that the LG Sonic® is known for and do not measure any harmonic noise or useless frequencies, that a common dB meter would do. Read more…

LG Sonic® Installation

1- Installation of the Electronic box

The electronic box has IP 67  is rainproof installtion outside is not a problem
The electronic box should be attached to a wall, with the cables facing downwards.

2- Transducer placement

The ultrasonic sound waves are issued by the transducer in a 180 degrees spread from the front of the machine. The device needs to be placed in such a manner that as much of the water surface as possible comes into direct contact with the sound waves. The strongest ultrasonic signals are those that come straight out of the transducer.

1.  Determine the optimal location of the transducer:- Where as much of the water surface comes into direct contact with the sound waves

  • Where the front of the unit follows the water current and/or wind direction (for larger water surfaces above 5-10m )
  • Where there are no corners outside the reach of the transducer, as this will greatly reduce the effectiveness of the device
  • With its backside as close to the water edge as possible

2.  Place the transducer in the water
3-  Ensure that the transducer is always completely below water surface
4   Always ensure a horizontal position of the transducer

 3- installation of the float

This float ensures that the transducer always remains in a position of about 20 cm horizontally below  water surface. In this way the sound waves will be reflected  when they touch the water surface. The sound will be more efficiently spread throughout the whole water reservoir

The first 20 cm of the water column is where the highest floating algae (unicellular) concentrations can be found, especially during day time.

The float should be secured by means of a pole/spear, rope or as we recommend by the flexiarm
