Description:
LG Sonic is looking for a B2B account manager – sales to join their international sales team. LG Sonic is a provider of innovative sustainable technologies to solve the global challenges with surface water quality deterioration. Their sales team operates in 60+ different countries where they implement technical solutions to water quality problems such as pollution and algal blooms.
What will you do as an International Sales Account Manager?
Within this role based out of The Netherlands, you will oversee developing new accounts and managing existing projects. These projects are mainly in the water and energy industry. You will be responsible for all aspects of sales – from developing prospects to producing proposals for projects and building good, long-term relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
The main responsibilities would include.
- Support existing and new clients with solutions fitting to their specific situation
- Closely follow the development and opportunities within the international water technology market
- Manage large, multi-stakeholder projects in an independent, proactive manner.
- Answer to prospective customers leads on time and professionally
- Convert leads and prospects into long-term customers through negotiation and relationship management
- Keep the CRM up to date
- Proactively identify new opportunities and potential for market growth
- Understand company products & services as well as business position & competition to keep business competitive.
- Planning and visiting trade shows, seminars and congresses together with the team.
The role requires excellent people skills to maintain good relationships and understanding when there is a business opportunity. Additionally, you will report to the Sales Manager.

Competencies for International Sales Account Manager
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish or French.
- 2-3 years experience in a Sales environment. Experience with B2B sales or business development is a plus.
- Experience with consultative selling is a plus.
- Independent mindset and transparency within team communications.
- Knowledge of CRM systems is a plus.
- Available 40 hrs a week and residing in the Randstad region. (45 minutes to our Zoetermeer office)
