From Monday the 21st to Friday the 25th of May, LG Sonic will be attending the EU Gateway business mission for Environment & Water Technologies in Tokyo, Japan. LG Sonic CEO Yousef Yousef, and Hydro Volta General Manager, George. Brik, will be meeting with local companies to develop new business relationships in Japan.
New Environmental Exposition
Part of the EU Gateway business mission is the New Environmental Exposition, during which European companies will present their environmental solutions to the Japanese market. LG Sonic will showcase the MPC-Buoy, an environmentally friendly solution for controlling algae growth without the use of chemicals. LG Sonic has won several awards with the MPC-Buoy, such as the Aquatech Innovation Award and the Energy Globe National Award. You can visit LG Sonic during the New Environmental Exposition at booth J206.
Innovation in the water industry
It is our mission at LG Sonic to eliminate the use of harmful chemicals in the water treatment industry. Since 1999, LG Sonic has been developing chemical-free solutions to control algae growth and prevent biofouling formation. Right now, the innovative MPC-Buoy solution has been installed by top-level water utilities, such as EPM, South West Water and American Water. The MPC-Buoy solution allows water utilities to reduce chemical usage, and in many cases, replaces the need to chemically treat the reservoir.
